FAQ

1. What’s the next step to book your services? I highly suggest booking at your earliest convenience to reserve your wedding date. In order to do so, there’s a 40% retainer fee & signing of an e-contract. The final payment is due 1 month prior to the event. All payments are nonrefundable except those occurrences outlined in the contract.

2. What's your preferred method of payment? I prefer an e-check or physical check. I do accept credit card payments but there is a 3% surcharge.

3. Do you travel outside of the city/country for destination elopements? Yes and I absolutely LOVE to but a travel fee may be assessed and will be added to the original contract agreement.

4. What if I needed to add on another hour or more? You could certainly do that just let me know at least one month in advance.

5. How long until I receive my photographs? Weddings and elopements, 6-8 weeks. Engagements and portraits, 4-6 weeks.

6. How many photos do you deliver? On average, 70 images per hour. I’m a firm believer in quality vs quantity.

...

7. What do you shoot with? I bounce between the Canon 6D, Contax 645, Canon 1-V, Pentax 645 & instant film cameras.

8. When should I receive the album? Eight weeks after you’ve received your photos in the mail and I’ve drawn up a rough draft template with your favorite photos. The final draft will be sent out for delivery once I have an approval.

9. Could you recommend amazing wedding vendors? Absolutely, just send me what you’re interested in (makeup, hair, florist, transportation, etc.) and I’ll go ahead and e-mail you a list of my favorite vendors in town.

10. Do you retouch or airbrush the photos? I do not retouch, airbrush, tuck, enhance or do any sort of heavy editing to my photographs.

11. My partner and I are really camera shy and awkward, what are some methods to get us to relax the day of? I'm so drawn to capturing expression and authenticity. I try not to pose my clients too much but I will give you some direction. For the most part, I let you both do your own thing and photograph the way you guys are naturally with each other... The way your partner touches you, holds your hand, the way you look at them etc. This may sound silly but practice in front of a mirror together. This will get you two comfortable with being close to each other and make our photo session flow easier. During our session, you'll hear me say quite often, "Pretend I'm not here." Which of course it's hard at first but do trust, the less you notice I'm there, the more relaxed you both become & the more natural our photos will feel. All in all I want us to have FUN! This will be one of the best days of your lives, lets create beautiful memories together!
